Introduction

La fonction exponentielle, notée \( \exp(x) \) ou \( e^x \), possèdent des propriétés algébriques importantes pour simplifier et étudier des expressions mathématiques.

Propriété 1 : \( \exp(x + y) = \exp(x) imes \exp(y) \)

Pour tous \( x, y \in \mathbb{R} \), la fonction exponentielle transforme la somme en produit :

\[ \exp(x + y) = \exp(x) imes \exp(y) \]

Exemple: si \( x=2 \) et \( y=3 \), alors :

\[ \exp(2+3) = \exp(5) = \exp(2) imes \exp(3) \]

Propriété 2 : \( \exp(-x) = rac{1}{\exp(x)} \)

Pour tout \( x \in \mathbb{R} \), l'exponentielle d'un négatif est l'inverse de l'exponentielle positive :

\[ \exp(-x) = rac{1}{\exp(x)} \]

Exemple : si \( x=4 \), alors :

\[ \exp(-4) = rac{1}{\exp(4)} \]
